Anxiety and No Appetite?

Thanks...I guess what is making it worse for me is I keep waiting for a hunger urge...then don't really get one and worry more. Still eat...just no real urge.

Welcome to the forurm u will get loads of help.When i was reading your post it was exactly the same as wot i had.

I have had anxiety for 3.5yrs, i had a severe cold with sore throat recently on top of an anxiety attack i have just got over. I lost my appetite didn't eat much and i lost a stone and half i got worried it was something serious but i now know it was only the anxiety, once the cold had gone and the anxiety had lifted i started to eat better i now have put my weight back on and esting alot more now. So u will get your appetite back once the anxiety has gone. Try not to worry to much.

Hi Linda....yes, your previous situation sounds similar to mine. When I was sick I didn't feel like eating at all. I guess it esculated after the panic situation I had that night. I feel much better now after learning that anxiety can cause so many physical symptoms.

I guess I had some other factors to, such as loss of income which didn't help.
However, I will be starting a new job on May 9, so hopefully this will snap me out of this state of mind.
