I’m so scared. For a while now I can feel a heavy pulsating feeling in my stomach and can visibly see my stomach beating like a heartbeat.
The only thing which comes up online to explain this is an AAA - abdominal aortic aneurysm.
My grandad died of an AAA which ruptured.
I went to the dr and she felt my stomach and said she couldn’t feel anything but would refer me for a scan. Been waiting 2 weeks and haven’t had any letter yet about the scan.
I’m 33 year female, exercise most days, don’t drink and don’t smoke. I feel embarrassed to tell anyone that I’m worried about an AAA because I don’t fit the risk category and doubt it would even be considered by a dr as a possibility.
But what else could cause this? It’s been going on for months
