Help! Does anyone think acid in the throat is caused by stress,

Hello there , I wonder if anyone could bring some clarity about having continuous acid in the throat with severe burns to my throat gums and lips.
Have tried everything for 3 months , PPI’s gaviscon , change of diet , nothing works . Have an appointment with gastro next week, but I was wondering if this could have been brought on by stress .
About 12 years ago I suffered from panic disorder with all the symptoms that go along with that ( stomach pain ect ) and if you’d told me then the body could react like that, I’d have laughed .
So it got me thinking , I wonder if maybe stress could have brought this on too.
I got better from panic disorder a long time ago through taking valium and exercise and time .Weened off the valium pretty quick)… So this just made me wonder if it could be caused by this again.

Stress can be a factor with acid reflux, so can fatty and oily food. Have you tried apple Cyder Vinegar? The mother type is best. Dilute a small teaspoon in warm water.

No not yet , as I thought this would make it work.

Stress can cause it.

Also be careful with Googling. I've Googled that low acid actually causes this, and there are some tests with HCL and I was sure I had low acid, and while this might be true, these tests are BS no matter what Google says. I've given the same HCL pill to my girlfriend who definitely doesn't have any stomach issues whatsoever and she didn't feel a thing as well.

If you can, try to ignore the burning sensation and just live your life.
