If your temperature usually runs low does that mean 37 could be a fever?

My temperature is usually around 36.4 but last couple of days I've felt feverish and thermometer has been showing 37. Given my temperature usually runs lower than average does this mean 37 is a fever for me? Really anxious so hoping it is just a fever caused by stress rather than anything more scary.

No it means that your temperature normally runs on the lower end of 'normal' and when you measured it it was also in the 'normal' range..... no fever

Agree, over 38 is considered a fever even if you are normally on the low end of normal. You could still have a 'bug' or virus of course and its making your temperature a little higher than your normal range, but it still doesn't count as fever. Remember that body temperature varies a lot at different times of the day, in different situations.
