I did catch a glimpse of a footnote on the front of today's Financial Times (viewed via 'The Papers' page on the BBC site) which says that it's likely that the latest Covid jabs currently being unveiled here in the UK (already in Scotland since Monday 4th September and starting in England on Monday 11th September but still not yet sure about Wales and NI) are likely to be effective against BA.2.86, which sounds encouraging, but in general there's still been very scarce news coverage of BA.2.86 in the UK.

But then again, as the time-honoured adage goes, no news is good news (or very little news at least).
