Re: Scary stuff I've handled the heck out of this week
So I'm a bit early in this as I haven't yet successfully handled it, but I've been offered a promotion at work and accepted it.
It will be a lot more responsibility and a steep learning curve - so I'm naturally terrified - but also a big bump in pay and it's probably time for a new challenge. It will be sad to give up my current job that I love, but I get to stay in the same office and have the same benefits, so it's a nice transition. I didn't ever think this career would be something I would pursue, but I don't really have any other looming career aspirations so I think this will be a good next step.

I’m still not quite sure how that one played out, but everything was done after I got back from vacation. I guess it wasn’t too many points against me. I’m not sure when I’ll start, there are things to put in order, but here’s to hoping it’s a smooth transition.
