Why wont i get a referral

Okey, just got out of the er, did ct scan and blood work, doctor said everything was fine, going to try and hold on to that and try not to freak out for now, he also prescribed Xanax to take only when anxious until I get my psychiatrist appointment, even though I know ct scans aren’t going to rule what I’m concerned out I’m trying to reason that if something was definitely wrong there would be some signs on these exams that they would find concerning and that they would give me a referral for a gastro doctor or a colonoscopy

Hey fishmanpa, I know that, this month has been the worse for me, I’m feeling better now, not 100% but truly making an effort I swear, I’m scared I’ll have a setback and panic again but at least the doctor gave me some medication for it…

On the verge of panicking right now because after pooping I felt this pain on my left side, has anyone felt this before? I’ve had left sided pain for 6/7 years now, comes and goes

Sometimes when it has been there for a while the intestine will spasm. It’s normal x
