Yes you are hyper-focusing. Obviously no one can tell you anything on here for sure as you know, but could it be the case you see the dr fairly often and they have done a 2ww apt to try and reassure you ( knowing routine referals are incredibly slow atm).

Thanks Louisa. This is actually my first time going to the GP since i moved to the UK fairly recently, but i did tell the GP i have health anxiety.
I’m trying to focus on the fact that my hoarseness and cough are getting better so hopefully that’s a sign of this NOT being cancer.
I’ve just received a call confirming my appointment is next Monday so hopefully a week from now i won’t be worrying about this anymore.
