Pulsating tinnitus - I've been doing so well ,

    Hi all,

    Hope everyone is doing well.
I have been doing amazing with my health anxiety and gradually been feeling less dizzy and more normal. Last night I had a few beers for a friend's birthday. It has been a hard, stressful week and I only had a few. I got home and my heart was beating fast (still is a bit) and as I laid down and put my head to the left...boom! I could hear my heart beat in my left ear as like a whooshing sound. Qué googling NHS site....literally no positive outcomes. This morning it's not really there, only if I really lay in one certain position. After weeks of doing so well I am in tears. Aland have been physically sick again. I'm trying to use logic and say that the alcohol, stress and fast heartbeat just caused a change of pressure in the ears but Google won't find anything on that! So sorry all but has anyone had similar?

I think it's gone now....I think if it was a real issue then it wouldn't go away? I'm so annoyed with being like this again

I have it very often - when bending over, when sitting in certain positions, sometimes when lying down 🤷🏻*♀️ nothing to worry about

I’ve had pulsatile tinnitus for years! And just had a clear brain MRI, so all good.
I once heard an ENT laugh at all the ridiculous reasons Google gives for pulsatile tinnitus. It’s usually completely harmless

Yeah, that was ordered for my vertigo. I never really doubted it was going to be clear. My GP just insisted on ruling out any physical issues. But it’s always peace of mind to know that’s clear
