Anal lump. Any health professionals out there?!

Hi all. As above, I have a lump. It is firm, smooth, rubbery, pea sized. Just on the outside. I don’t know that I’ve ever had haemorrhoids. I have had 2 children though. I’m worried it is a lymph node but when I google this, results about anal cancer being related to lymph nodes ‘ in the anal area’ appear.

When I look up nodes/diagrams of ‘anal’ nodes or nodes presenting like this I find nothing however.

No bleeding. Only slightly tender. Mobile.

Clearly the answer is to see a dr but I’m currently on holiday. If any health professionals know the answer to the lymph node question would be great in the meantime!

Thanks for the reply. I assumed this but thought was odd that it was firm/doesnt bleed.

To anyone that might be reading- how does one get more traffic or is it normal to wait a while to get replies?

The site's quite quiet nowadays. However, it's important to remember that we support one another - people reply out of the goodness of their hearts and the vast majority of users aren't mental or physical healthcare professionals. What we do have in common is that we all have issues with our own anxiety, frequently to a crippling degree.

It's a community. A good idea is to try responding to others' posts while you wait.

Yes I understand. I myself have not posted anything in a long time/have not used site much. I wonder why it is quiet now.
