oh very common as you start going through perimenopause to have much heavier flows that seem never ending. look up a website called mysecondspring, I get freaked out by my time of the month, now that I am going through the change, I never know when mine is going to start or stop once it gets here, I am going on almost six months without a period and I am having symptoms like I am going to start any day now.

My cousin had this since she was a teenager. She would have to wear the absolute largest pads and go change them every half hour. She passed out a few times from too much blood loss.
She tried the mirena coil first but that didn't do anything. She then ended up also going on Cerazette and thankfully for her it worked in that it stopped hers entirely.
I'm so sorry you're going through this! I'm not sure your age, but if it's not a menopause thing with you then I really hope you find something that works
