I haven't been on the site for a while; things have been going really well and the anxiety and panic took as back seat in my life.......but it's back at the forefront, reared it's ugly head again.

I have no idea what triggers it or brings it back and it's so frustrating. I feel so disappointed in myself again - so sad that I have let it come back and take control of my life.

I've not been having the full on panic attacks I've experienced before; no doubt they'l be back soon. Just the constant feeling of being at 7-8 (on the scale 1-10) all the time. I've been waking up in th night with pals and having such vivid dreams. I'm snappy and have the feeling of losing control ove the simplest things...Sickness, wreching, too much adrenalin etc...I've been using all the techs I know but nothing is combatting it at the mo. I guess keeping going is the way forward.

I've got some lovely things coming up over the next month or so, a holiday and I'm so worried and disappointed that I'll be feeling like this and it will ruin it and that's what makes me cross with me and so on and so on...

I always try to remember its passed before and it will again. I just wanted to get my feelings and thoughts out.....

Thanks

I think sometimes we forget all the little things that helped us in the first place. For example, I used to religiously listen to a relaxation tape every lunchtime and then when I felt better I stopped doing it. I think in hindsight I should have carried on but you think that once you are well again you can give up all those things that helped.

Maybe start at the basics again and look at diet, exercise, vitamin supplements. Have your thoughts changed atall?

This is probably a blip along the way but it is not a major setback and you can back on track again very soon.

Chin up ok?

**I've not been having the full on panic attacks I've experienced before; no doubt they'l be back soon**

Certainly sounds as though you've left your optimism and positivity behind and keeping rational thoughts going is vital to getting over blips

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
