Its often the other way round- toothache pain can lead to panic as you speculate on what might need to happen.

I must admit I get toothace when Im stressed or worried because I grind/clench my teeth during the night, I am stressed at the moment and I woke with the most horrific toothache last night I eventually got 3 hours sleep.

I totally forgot about the pain from grinding teeth when I was posting yesterday. I'm so sorry.

Yes , grinding and clenching teeth can be extremely painful. It is helpful to see your dentist and if he can confirm from the state of your teeth that is happening , you can have a mouth guard made to wear at night which will both protect your teeth from the wear and tear effects and save you a lot of discomfort.

hi all thanks madwoman and meg

i have only been getting like a dull toothache every morning when i wake up for the last 7days and it drives me nuts along with the constant aches and pains i get but ive had every test known done at hospital ..

basically what happened 2years ago i got bad chest pains and got taken into the local a&e they did blood tests blood pressure checks every 10 mins to c if it was bp related but couldnt find anything wrong apart from my bp beng 130/88 which i was told was normal , i even had a exercise tolerance test just b4 xmas 2003 and i got the all clear on the heart side of of things, so they put it down to a severe panic attack and i still get all the usual symptoms 2day and the docs said i need to relax which is easier said than done , but i dont wan tto bore you with all the things that has happened in my family over the last few years..

well october the 18th 2004 my wife had a late misscarriage after 24weeks of pregnanacy which triggered loads of panic attacks it was the hardest thing ive ever had to do and bury my own son before they had 2bury me dont we all expext our kids to outlive us parents?.. like i say its the hardest thibg ive ever had to do and wouldnt wish that on any1 not even my worst enemy

but to this day i still get extremely bad panic attacks my gp wants me to go for cbt?? anyone know what this is and if its any use to ppl who suffer from panic/anxiety attacks[Sigh...]

Tghere is a whole page on CBT on the home pages so you can go and have agood read up . Its a good plan of your GP's . Many people wait months for CBT.

Sounds like you panics are as a result of pint pot too full and your emotional state overflowed ..
