Hello all, I am new to this site. I was diagnosed with GAD about 5 yrs ago but it was mild, mainly only tachycardia as a symptom. About 6 months ago I suffered a bout of severe vertigo for 15 hrs straight for which I was hospitalized as I could not even open my eyes or sit up. Ever since the vertigo I have developed panic attacks, they started slow about two or three a month and then they progressed to 2 or 3 a week. The last one landed me in the ER because it lasted over an hour and I could not come out of it. My doctor has finally put me on ativan and it does help, no panic attacks for 2 weeks now, but they were worst when driving, still have a little anxiety while driving even on the meds. but at least no panic.

Hiya mommie u have similar symptons as me,they said i had atrial tachycardia which is the fast heart beat and i had a heart procedure for it,but they couldnt find anythin,i also get the anxiety when drivin,hope to speak to u soon and hope ur well x x x
