hand pain when pressure is applied

Since yesterday I have some pain in my hand. Only one side and only when I press against my palm / have to hold something tight. Never had any sorts of pain in my hand because of anxiety so this is making me panic a lot.
Anyone who had something similiar? Or who knows more about what it could be?

Completely normal. Sometimes due to tendons or maybe you even had a bit to much pressure on your hand/strained it a little the day before (which you wouldn't even remember doing). The fact it only comes on when you do something specific really sounds like a tendon, muscle strain, or just general tenderness.
This happens to me a lot :)
