Hello, has anyone experienced a feeling on antidepressants in the first few weeks where it feels like there is pressure in the brain that tingles too. It's not painful at all but feels really intense at times. I'm assuming this is due to an excess of Seretonin build up in the synaptic cleft but don't get the overwhelming mood improvement that you would expect. It's been going on all day and have had it most days for a while.

It's not Brain zaps as it is not like shocks. Just permanent pressure, squeezing and tingling. Sometimes feels nice and warm and also cold so changes.

Thanks

Yes, tingling, odd sensations are normal. A lot of people experience that as a mild side effect and usually it goes away the longer you're on the meds.

Also, just the symptoms of anxiety themselves can cause these odd sensations throughout the body. Amazing what we do to ourselves! Just be kind and patient with yourself.
