I've spoke in other threads how I have an (slightly) enlarged spleen, but my blood tests and x-ray's came back fine, as did my CT (apart from the slightly enlarged spleen), no lumps or anything. Two doctor's and haematologist has told me there is no concern.

Yet a few nights a week I get night sweats (nothing drenching, just damp). I've been suffering from anxiety for about a year now, and really noticed them earlier this year, but they went away. But when I googled about spleens and lymphoma and saw night sweats being a symptom, obviously this spurs anxiety on more and the sweats started again.

The annoying thing is, they seems to come, even when my anxiety is better. It obviously is sub consciously there.

With my blood work being fine, and being told there is no concern by a specialist and two doctors, is there a way of curing anxiety night sweats?

I have a lot of symptoms of lymphoma at the minute inc. the night sweats and I really have no idea what to do to make them better!
Some nights I seem relatively okay and I try to think what I've done different! My anxiety levels are at a low currently and have been for a few weeks but they still persist.
Like you it's not a sheets drenching sweat, but I wake up clammy and damp all over often with a small 'puddle' on my chest area.
Do you find you sweat at other times? I have near constant sweaty feet, worse when they're in the bed sheets!

It's quite possible that this isn't even anxiety related. Some people are just hotter than others, and if you lie under thick sheets or wear clothes to bed you'll probably sweat.

Try lighter sheets or sleeping topless, that might help a lot!

Unfortunately I have tried all those things and seem to have no luck! I wouldn't even be concerned about the night sweats without the presence of all the other symptoms.
My doctor has put all of it down to 'something that might just go away' :P so I wait...

Yeah I am a sweaty person. I always have been, even as a kid.

I always thought, that due to me being a sweaty person, it was normal for me to sweat at night. I never thought anything of it until I saw how it was associated to cancer and a lot of other things. Obviously my anxiety has gone sky high this summer and I've sweated more than ever in my sleep recently.

I don't think it is that with me personally.

I've literally slept with two windows open, a fan on and topless with a sheet over me and I've still been sweaty. I am a warmer person but I do think it is anxiety with me, due to me being in therapy recently. I just want to know how to cure them because whenever my anxiety is lower, they still come.

I don't think I've looked forward to a night sleep since June :weep:

Never have I heard something so true! My night sweats induced some really bad insomnia back at the start of July! Literally didn't want to sleep because I knew I'd wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty and that would cause me to panic.

Please let me know if you find some kind of cure for this! It's only been happening around 4 months for me, but that's been 4 very stressful months.

I have night sweats too, not every night, and not the sheet soaking type, definitely seems to puddle around my chest area too. When I was in hospital, this happened, I was on four hourly obs and all was normal range.

Do you still get them quite often? Mine does seem to be most night sadly, had a few good night last week! Thought it was over and it all come back again!

My sister took a blood pressure medication before bed to help with this along with night terrors ... Her doctor prescribed them and it seemed to help.

I still get them from time to time, if I'm anxious or run down, it wakes me up, but I know it's just anxiety so I generally get back to sleep. Xx

Any symptom I have, I Google but put anxiety on the end. You'd be shocked how virtually anything can be a symptom of anxiety. Xxx
