How long did your withdrawal from medication last?
I've had withdrawals before which only consisted of brain zaps (sometimes extreme but still bearable) and lasted a month.
But now it's much worse.
I'm currently at week 4 of withdrawal from Escitalopram. I haven't even stopped it completely because I had to reinstate 5 mg due to extremely severe withdrawal symptoms. So now I take 5 mg every day.
Some symptoms have gone, but others persist (such as eye floaters, derealization, not feeling like myself, poor sleep, etc.)
I want to ask - how long did your withdrawal last and was it very severe?
I feel very disheartened because I found a website called http://survivingantidepressants.org/ and it says withdrawal lasts months and even years.
Please help I've convinced myself I'll never get better and might have brain damage from these drugs :scared15::wacko::weep::shrug:
