Amoxicillin (anitibiotics)

i have been giving some amoxicillin antiobiotics by the dentist to take one 500mg every 8 hours. The thing is im really scared to take them incase i have an allergic reaction, has anyone else took these before?

I have taken them before and was fine with them but everyone is different. I think if your dentist advised you to take them, then you should. Side effects are usually rare (may upset your tummy a little when you first take them).

I take them a lot for ear infections, never had any problems with them and been using them for years.

I am taking them at the moment, same dose, for an infection. I have not experienced any side effects. I think you would already know if you were allergic to penicillin. I'm sure you'll be fine taking them, well far better than not taking them that's for sure xx.
