View Full Version : Hello - introducing myself

Hi there

Hope I've got this right - I'm new to website forums and wasn't sure how to make a "post" - hoping this works!

Just to introduce myself and my situation - out of the blue, about a month/ 6 weeks ago I started having panic attacks - related to an ear problem that caused intense claustrophobia - finding it very hard to find my way through this - but your site has been very helpful so far - thanks.

Diazepam makes me worse - don't do well with any mood altering drugs really - so trying to find my way through this without prescription drugs - not easy and feel like I'm overdosing on chamomile tea and rescue remedy!

Will keep coming on line and seeing what advice / support is on offer - its already so helpful to know that there are others out there coping with this.

Cheers.

Margaret

Hi Margaret, & welcome to NMP. There's a lot of info on here about alternative remedies. Try Valerian, everyone seems to think this is really helpful for panic.
