I'm feeling really bad today. Please help!

I have a bit of a fever and cold hands and my neck feels sore.. I'm so scared I have meningitis.. I couldn't get the vaccine because I was sick the day they were doing it in my university :( I have a sinus infection so I'm so scared it might turn into that.. and one of my eyes is bloodshot!! I cant shake the idea out of my head...

It is probably a virus (as the GP always says). Have you got a rash at all?
Everyone can have a bit of a stiff neck if they have the flu, but its a matter of how stiff - I don't know but if it was meningitis I guess it would be very bad.
I think that if you had meningitis, you would not be reading here or posting - you'd be too ill.
Have you taken something to bring the fever down, that might make you feel a bit better

viruses can cause muscle pain+anxiety= bad combo lol.

Thanks for your advice everyone. I was doing ok until just now when I was studying for a microbiology exam and I had to read a whole lecture on meningitis and how about 30% of people have it in their system. Now worried sick again that i'm going to get it...
