That's exactly what I was thinking Blueiris. Thanks for replying. I don't want to avoid the sun, I've waited so long for it to come. Or be afraid of it. So I took myself into the garden for a while and I was OK, but I didn't look in the sun's direction and wore sunglasses.
Good idea. My tip for telling sun distortions from aura is that if it's the sun, it'll change colour when you close your eyes.
Sometimes if I'm worrying, sun blindness can last for ages.

Coming from experience. Sometimes my sunspots will stick around for fifteen or twenty minutes, I've been known to panic over them.
Those sun spots are eerie, I hate them.
